Duration of your trip (by car) : Lyon Center (45 minutes) - Lyon St Exupery Airport (60 minutes) -  Villefranche sur Saone (30 minutes) - Belleville sur Saone (35 minutes) - Macon (50 minutes) - Saint Etienne (80 minutes) - Paris (5 hours) - Marseille (4 hours) - Geneva (2 hours).

From Lyon Saint Exupery Airport follow direction "Lyon Nord - Genève - Bourg" 8 km on the A42 motorway until a first toll gate at "La Boisse" (take a ticket) and then stay on the left lane heading to "PARIS - VILLEFRANCHE SUR SAONE"  25 km (A42 and then A46). Get off the motorway in VILLEFRANCHE SUR SAONE, exit #31.2 . Then follow direction to ROANNE on D338 (20km) until you cross D385 and then follow "LAMURE SUR AZERGUES. In lamure, before the centre, opposite the sports field, turn left to the small path going up, posted PRAMENOUX – D657. Drive 2 km up to the castle.

From northern Europe or Paris, by the A6 motorway, take the Belleville EXIT (#30), then follow up the direction to Beaujeu. In  Saint-Vincent, turn left. Drive through Quincie, Marchampt (do not enter the village), col de la croix Marchampt (up 10km) and down to Lamure. Go through the town centre then, 500m further, opposite the sports field, turn right to the small path going up, posted PRAMENOUX – D657. Drive 2km up to the castle.

From southern France or Lyon through the Fourviere tunnel  (in Lyon) heading north to Paris, A6 motorway, take exit 33 in Limonest (Auchan supermarket). Take main road N6 heading to Villefranche, Macon, Roanne. Drive for 5 km on N6 then at the roundabout take left the country road D385 direction Lamure sur Azergues (45km). In lamure, before the centre, opposite the sports field, turn left to the small path going up, posted PRAMENOUX – D657. Drive 2 km up to the castle.
